Erwin Olaf is most famous for his commercial and personal work. Levi’s, Microsoft and Nokia are international companies that assign them to photography advertising campaigns for these companies.

In his work with the theme “Never avoid controversy, Springveld’s work is often online and provocative. But it has happened because his photo was rejected from a show on the grounds that it does not contain nudity.
Erwin Olaf’s works have received many awards and exhibitions throughout the world.
Erwin Olaf studied journalism at the School of Journalism in Utrecht. Many of his works are displayed in galleries and museums around the world, such as in Wagner + Partner, Berlin; Flatland Gallery, Utrecht; The Hamilton Gallery, London; Galerie Magda Danysz, Paris; Espacio Minimo Gallery, Madrid; and much more.
And Erwin Olaf was given an opportunity by the Dutch kingdom to design a 2014 Dutch euro coin with a portrait of King Willem-Alexander.
And currently an exhibition of Erwin Olaf’s works is taking place at the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam from July 3 2019 to September 22 2019.
For Erwin Olaf, the Rijksmuseum has been a major source of inspiration since his youth, which Jan Steen, Rembrandt, Breitner and other Dutch artists greatly influenced his work. To mark the transfer of its core collection, the Rijksmuseum held a 12x Erwin Olaf exhibition, in which Olaf displayed his photos in dialogue with Dutch paintings. This is the first time his work has been displayed besides his other famous works.
